A COLLECTIBLES specialist has revealed how to see if the china in your home is worth up to $1,000,000.
And if not, there are four other types of valuable items you can look around for.
Eric Whiteback is a self-described "collectibles guru" who shares his knowledge on TikTok (@ericwhiteback).
In a recent video, he talked about five items that you might have lying around the house that could be highly valuable.
Some items with the most potential value are antique china plates and vases, as these can fetch over $1 million.
To find out the value of your china, it's vital that you turn it upside down and check the bottom.

There, you should see the artist or manufacturer name, which you can research on Google.
"Old china, mason jars, and other dishes can be incredibly value," said Whiteback.
But, there are four other items around your house with high potential value.

"Tamagotchis, Polly Pockets, and other toys can be worth hundreds of dollars," said Whiteback.
He suggested that some can even fetch thousands if they are in brand-new condition.
To get an estimated value for your toys, check eBay listings and filter by "sold" items.
Old Lego sets can also be particularly valuable, particularly Star Wars mini-figures.
"Keep a particular close eye out for the Boba Fett mini-fgiure, said Whiteback.
If you're more of a musical household, look through your shelves of vinyl records.
In particular, albums by The Beatles and Elvis are "some of the most valuable ones that are easy to identify."
And finally, the collectibles expert says your old video games are "guaranteed to be worth something."
Some of the most coveted used games include Super Mario Bros and any NES game with a sticker seal.
If you do have sealed games, Whiteback advises checking the auction site Heritage Auctions for past auction sales, as some can fetch over $1 million.
